Celebration for the Critters promises a great evening of food, wine, and music, all to support CRES, the Society’s Conservation and Research for Endangered Species organization. Held at the San Diego Zoo, the main event will run from 7:30 p.m. to midnight, and will also feature live entertainment on two stages, dancing, strolling mariachis, a silent auction, and opportunity drawings. From 7:30 to 9:30, fine local restaurants will serve delicious dishes, and numerous purveyors will hold a tasting of wines, beers, and spirits. General Admission tickets: $80 ($90 after September 9).
